Acylex 5,g Cream ( Acyclovir ) Ferozsons
This medication is used to treat "cold sores/fever blisters" (herpes labialis). It can speed up healing of the sores and decrease symptoms (such as tingling, pain, burning, itching). Acyclovir belongs to a class of medications known as antivirals. It works by stopping the growth of the virus. This medication does not cure herpes, and it does not prevent passing the infection to someone else. It does not prevent a future occurrence.
How to use acyclovir topical
Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start using acyclovir and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Use this medication at the first sign of infection (such as tingling, burning, redness). Wash your hands with soap and water before and after applying this medication. Clean and dry the affected areas before applying the medication. Apply to the affected area and rub in gently as directed by your doctor, usually 5 times a day (every 3 to 4 hours) for 4 days for cold sores. Apply enough cream to cover all affected areas (red/tingling/burning areas, sores).
Apply to skin only. Do not apply this medication in the eyes or nose, inside the mouth, or inside the vagina. If you do get medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water.
Dosage is based on your medical condition, type of infection, and response to treatment. Do not use this drug more often or for longer than prescribed.
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. This medication works best when the amount of drug absorbed by the skin stays at a constant level. Use this drug at evenly spaced intervals. To help you remember, use it at the same times each day.
To prevent washing off the medication, do not bathe, shower, or swim right after applying it.
If applying to genital herpes sores, use a finger cot or rubber gloves to avoid spreading the infection.
Do not apply other skin products (such as drugs, cosmetics, sun screens, or lip balms) unless told to do so by your doctor. Do not cover the area with plastic or waterproof bandages unless told to do so by your doctor.
Cold sores (herpes) can spread easily. Acyclovir cream does not prevent the spread of herpes. Avoid close physical contact with others (such as kissing) during an outbreak until the cold sores have completely healed. Also, try not to touch the cold sore, and wash your hands if you do touch the cold sore.
If you are using acyclovir for treatment of genital herpes, it is important to follow safe sex practices to reduce the risk of giving herpes to your partner, even if there are no symptoms present. Always use a condom made of latex or polyurethane. When you have symptoms or are experiencing an outbreak, do not have sexual contact with your partner.
Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets worse after treatment is finished.

Amgydex Ointment ( Tobramycin Dexamethasone ) KOBEC
Used For Eye Infection
The efficacy of corticosteroids for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the eye is well established. Corticosteroids achieve their anti-inflammatory effects through suppression of vascular endothelial cell adhesion molecules, cyclooxygenase I or II, and cytokine expression. This action culminates in a reduced expression of pro-inflammatory mediators and the suppression of adhesion of circulating leukocytes to the vascular endothelium, thereby preventing their migration into inflamed ocular tissue. Dexamethasone has marked anti-inflammatory activity with reduced mineralocorticoid activity compared with some other steroids, and is one of the most potent anti-inflammatory agents. Tobramycin is a potent, broad-spectrum, rapidly bactericidal aminoglycoside antibiotic. It exerts its primary effect on bacterial cells by inhibiting polypeptide assembly and synthesis on the ribosome. Tobramycin in this combination provides antibacterial protection against susceptible bacteria.

Amrokort Injection (Trimiclone) – Amros
Andrex Capsules (Testosterone Undecanoate) – OBS
Androcur 50mg Tablet (Cyproterone Acetate) – Bayer
Androcur is an anti-androgen medicine.
Androgens such as testosterone are natural male sex hormones which are also produced, to a slight extent, in females.
In men, androgens may help cancer cells to grow in some types of prostate cancer. By blocking these hormones, Androcur may slow or stop the growth of cancer. Androcur may also be used in combination with other medicines or following surgical removal of the testes to treat side effects such as “hot flushes” or “sweats” and to prevent any initial worsening of the disease.
Androcur is also used to reduce abnormal sex drive in men.
In women, androgens may increase hair growth, loss of scalp hair and secretion of oil from the sweat glands. By blocking these hormones, Androcur may slow or stop excessive hairiness, loss of scalp hair, acne, oily skin, and dandruff.
Cyproterone acetate inhibits competitively the effect of androgens on androgen-dependent target organs, e.g. it shields the prostate from the effect of androgens originating from the gonads and/or the adrenal cortex. Prostatic carcinoma and its metastases are in general androgen-dependent, Androcur, therefore, exerts a direct antiandrogenic action on the tumour and its metastases.
Cyproterone acetate in addition has a progestogenic action exerting a negative feedback effect centrally on the hypothalamic receptors, so leading to a reduction in gonadotropin release, and hence to diminished production of testicular androgens. Treatment with cyproterone acetate in men results in a reduction of sexual drive and potency and inhibition of gonadal function. These changes are reversible following discontinuation of the therapy.
Androcur 50 contains 50 mg of the active ingredient cyproterone acetate. It also contains the inactive ingredients lactose, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, aerosil.
Aprovel 150mg Tab. ( Irbesartan ) 28’s Sanofi
Generics
Irbesartan
Used For
Hypertension
How it works
Irbesartan : Irbesartan is a potent, orally active, selective angiotensin-II receptor (type AT1) antagonist. It is expected to block all actions of angiotensin-II mediated by the AT1 receptor, regardless of the source or route of synthesis of angiotensin-II. The selective antagonism of the angiotensin-II (AT1) receptors results in increases in plasma renin levels and angiotensin-II levels, and a decrease in plasma aldosterone concentration. Serum potassium levels are not significantly affected by irbesartan alone at the recommended doses. Irbesartan does not inhibit ACE (kininase-II), an enzyme which generates angiotensin-II and also degrades bradykinin into inactive metabolites. Irbesartan does not require metabolic activation for its activity.

When not to Use
Do not take if: - You are in the second or third trimester of pregnancy, - You are breast-feeding or - If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Aprovel Tablets Precautions
Precaution
There is an increased risk of severe hypotension and renal insufficiency when patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or stenosis of the artery to a single functioning kidney are treated with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin-II receptor antagonists. While this is not documented with Irbesartan/Hydrochlorothiazide , a similar effect should be anticipated.
Aprovel Tablets Warnings
Warning 1
There is evidence that the concomitant use of ACE-inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers or aliskiren increases the risk of hypotension, hyperkalaemia and decreased renal function (including acute renal failure). Dual blockade of RAAS through the combined use of ACE-inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers or aliskiren is therefore not recommended.
Warning 2
ACE-inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor blockers should not be used concomitantly in patients with diabetic nephropathy.
Warning 3
As for any patient receiving diuretic therapy, periodic determination of serum electrolytes should be performed at appropriate intervals
