🔹 Indications (Uses):

Optachlor eye drops in bacterial infections ke liye use hoti hain:

• Bacterial Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
• Keratitis (Cornea infection)
• Blepharitis (Eyelid inflammation)
• Corneal Ulcers
• Post-operative eye infection prevention
• Other superficial ocular infections caused by susceptible bacteria

🔹 Mechanism of Action:

Chloramphenicol bacteria ki protein synthesis inhibit karta hai, jiske wajah se bacteria multiply nahi kar pate aur infection control ho jata hai. Ye gram-positive aur gram-negative dono types ke bacteria par asar karta hai.

🔹 Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children: 1-2 drops affected eye(s) mein har 4-6 ghante mein
• Acute infection mein first 48 hours ke doran zyada frequently use ki ja sakti hai
• Treatment duration: usually 5-7 days
• Doctor ki hidayat ke mutabiq use karein

🔹 Storage Instructions:

• Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place
• Direct sunlight se bachayein
• Bottle open karne ke baad 28 din ke andar use karein
• Bachon ki pahunch se door rakhein

🔹 Side Effects (Possible):

• Halki burning ya stinging sensation
• Temporary blurred vision
• Aankhon mein khujli ya redness
• Allergic reactions (rare cases mein)

🔹 Precautions & Warnings:

• Contact lens users apply karne se pehle lens nikal dein
• Pregnancy aur breastfeeding mein doctor se consult karein
• Prolonged use se bachein (resistance ka risk)
• Agar 48 hours mein improvement na ho, doctor se rabta karein
