Used For Treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension to help reduce increased intraocular pressure (IOP). How It Works SyniCom combines Dorzolamide (a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor) and Timolol (a beta-blocker). Together, they reduce the production of fluid inside the eye, helping to lower eye pressure and protect the optic nerve. Dosage Adults: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Children: Use only if recommended by a healthcare professional. Possible Side Effects Mild burning or stinging Temporary blurred vision Eye itching or tearing Bitter or unusual taste after application Eye redness (rarely) Indications Recommended for patients with: Open-angle glaucoma Ocular hypertension Pseudoexfoliative glaucoma Other secondary open-angle glaucomas requiring combination therapy Do Not Use If You have bronchial asthma or severe COPD. You have certain heart conditions such as severe bradycardia, heart block, or heart failure. You are allergic to Dorzolamide, Timolol, or any ingredient in the product. Precautions Remove soft contact lenses before using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them. Inform your doctor if you have heart, lung, kidney, or liver disease. Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
