Used For Treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension to help reduce increased intraocular pressure (IOP). How It Works SyniCom combines Dorzolamide (a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor) and Timolol (a beta-blocker). Together, they reduce the production of fluid inside the eye, helping to lower eye pressure and protect the optic nerve. Dosage Adults: Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by your physician. Children: Use only if recommended by a healthcare professional. Possible Side Effects Mild burning or stinging Temporary blurred vision Eye itching or tearing Bitter or unusual taste after application Eye redness (rarely) Indications Recommended for patients with: Open-angle glaucoma Ocular hypertension Pseudoexfoliative glaucoma Other secondary open-angle glaucomas requiring combination therapy Do Not Use If You have bronchial asthma or severe COPD.
