Chymoral forte tablet is usually taken four times daily, half an hour before a meal or as the physician prescribes.

The digestive enzymes that break down lipids (lipases), starch (amylases), and proteins (proteases) are synthesised and produced by the pancreatic cells. The structure and catalytic effect of the various kinds of pancreatic proteases interacting with the protein's peptide bonds varies from one another.
The two types of proteases known as trypsin and chymotrypsin were initially produced in the pancreas from the inactive zymogen precursors trypsinogen and chymotrypsinogen to inhibit unwanted cellular activity and regulate when and where enzyme activity occurs. Zymogens are subsequently transported into the bloodstream or the intestines, where they are either expelled or transformed into digestively active enzymes through proteolysis. The active proteolytic enzymes are increased when trypsin and chymotrypsin are combined.
