# **Lemin Tablets (Levofloxacin)** ## **How It Works** Lemin contains **Levofloxacin**, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, ultimately stopping the growth of bacteria and eliminating the infection. **Note:** Lemin is effective **only against bacterial infections** and should not be used to treat viral illnesses such as the common cold or influenza. --- ## **Indications** Lemin is indicated for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infections, including respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and other infections, as prescribed by your physician. --- ## **Usage & Safety** ### **Prescription Status** Lemin is a **prescription-only medicine** and should be used strictly under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. ### **Dosage & Administration** * Take **once daily**, or exactly as prescribed by your physician. * Swallow the tablet whole with a **full glass of water**. * It may be taken **with or without food**. * Take the medicine at the **same time each day** for the best therapeutic effect. ### **Drug Interactions** Avoid taking Lemin **within 2 hours before or after** products containing **aluminum, magnesium, calcium, iron, or zinc**, including antacids, multivitamins, and mineral supplements, as these may reduce the absorption and effectiveness of Levofloxacin. ### **Complete the Full Course** Continue taking the medication for the **entire prescribed duration**, even if you begin to feel better.
